My Easter Extravaganza!!

Hello there peeps. How was your Easter? Hopefully all went well and you did not eat too much candy. Umm and hopefully your children either. I had an AMAZING and rather exhausting day.

Hmm where do I start?? Well first off my plans changed about four times and by the end of the day my feet and back were hurting. The original plan was to have a nice relaxing day (translation=hubby does all the cooking and I cheer on his good works from the side with body glued to the chair all day) (FYI-This never usually happens) But instead of this plan we switched plans a couple more times before deciding on "yard work!!" Yes yard work on Easter. After realizing that we would not have my step children all day we decided to head to Lowes to buy more plants (trust me I my yard does not need more plants). After two trips back and forth we finally started planting. Although I enjoy planting and working in my yard, for some reason Easter was extra exhausting. Maybe that was baby Jesus trying to say "relax". The only problem with that is I don't understand what the word "relax" means. I find great peace in gardening. It is very therapeutic for me. I am about to say something that will AMAZE you....so does my husband. He has nooooo problem helping in the yard. In fact he loves it! That makes me super happy because I don't have to beg for help. It makes digging holes much easier:) Below are pics of our FUN and adventurous day of digging!

  1. The yard looks great! I have so much to do with ours. Lots of bulbs to be planted, mulch to put down, and rearranging to do. I need more hours in the day. ;)

Thanks for linking up to my blog!

    1. Your welcome! Thanks for your kind words. I agree with you, there are defiantly not enough hours in a day!! It had taken a couple of years to get to this point. Each year I add things and believe it or not I still have stuff to add. It is a never ending project. Lol Hope you enjoy my blog!
